Montana Elk, Deer Hunting and Pack Trips in Bob Marshall Wilderness

The Bob Marshall Wilderness Complex, known as the "crown jewel" of our nation's wilderness system consists of three contiguous wilderness areas, the Bob Marshall, the Lincoln Scapegoat and the Great Bear. Together they total 1.5 million acres. During the course of a summer season, Rick travels throughout this vast area on roving wilderness excursions. Trips are a combination of high country scenery and fly fishing in some of Montana's finest "blue ribbon" trout streams.

We are the leaders in the "leave no trace" movement with stock in the back country. This love of the country and the desire to "care" for the environment is part of what we hope to share and pass on to our crew and guests.

Our summer pack trips are designed for our guest's pleasure. As we travel through the wilderness we do our best to interpret the flora and fauna, as well as the many geological and historical features of the unique area we are traveling through. The Bob Marshall is ideally suited for the family trip as it offers something for everyone.

We would appreciate the privilege of sharing our wilderness with you, so why not take the time to slow down to three miles per hour (the average speed of a trail horse).
